Tally's editing feel.
Actual privacy.

We built Surveyee on the same idea that made Tally great — effortless to build, free to run at scale. We just didn't stop there: every response is anonymous by default, encryption is a free toggle away, and your data stays in Germany. Here's exactly how that stacks up.

vs. Tally

What Tally does well — and where we differ

Tally set the bar for what a modern form builder should feel like — a document-style editor, a genuinely generous free tier (unlimited forms and responses), and no feature-gating tricks. If you just want the best free form builder, Tally is a real, worthy pick.

The one thing Tally doesn't do is privacy: it's GDPR-compliant on paper, but it tracks respondents by default and has no end-to-end encryption option. Surveyee follows Tally's free-tier generosity and editing philosophy, then adds real E2E encryption, anonymous-by-default responses, and EU hosting — a combination we don't think anyone else offers together.

vs. Typeform

What Typeform does well — and where we differ

Typeform's one-question-at-a-time flow is genuinely great for lead-gen and high-conversion forms, and its brand is the most recognizable in the category.

Typeform's free plan caps you at 10 responses a month, and the cap doesn't disappear once you pay — Basic (€25/mo) tops out at 750/mo, Plus (€49/mo) at 2,500/mo, Business (€84/mo) at 50,000/mo. Surveyee's free plan has no response cap at all. We also ship end-to-end encryption and anonymous-by-default responses, which Typeform offers at no tier, and roughly 40 question and block types (video, signature, payment, file upload all included on Free) against their ~25, several of which they gate behind paid plans.

vs. Google Forms

What Google Forms does well — and where we differ

Google Forms is free, fast to spin up, and integrates natively with Google Sheets and Workspace — if you're already living in Google's ecosystem for a simple internal form, it's hard to beat for convenience.

It wasn't built for privacy or design: responses are tied to Google accounts by default, there's no encryption option, and the respondent experience and branding are both fixed. Surveyee is built the other way — encrypted by default, anonymous unless you choose otherwise, and a respondent experience designed to be finished, not just filled out.
